David E. Holmgren (b. 1960) is a Canadian astronomer and former Assistant Professor of Physics at Brandon University. His research focuses on the study of close binary star systems. David is a former graduate student of the University of Victoria and was a frequent user of the telescopes at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory.
